Q: How do I place an order?

A: Thank you! Just click on the item you would like, select your size or colour and hit the "add to cart" button.

Automatically your item will be added to your cart.
When you're done picking out your rad goodies, click on the cute 'lil mini shopping cart in the top right hand corner to checkout.

Fill out your shipping and billing details, followed by the shipping option you choose. The total will appear in Canadian Dollars.  If you have a promo code, enter it, then follow the instructions and hit "confirm" to make your payment

Tip* You can start an account with us to make the checkout process quicker the next time you shop with us. If you check the box for us to send you emails, we have special promotions and giveaways for The Brain Candy members that we send OCCASIONAL emails for :)

Q: How do I pay?

A:  For payment we use Shopify and Paypal Website Payments Pro (CA), a third party payment service that at no time provides us with your personal banking information.

Shopify accepts Credit Card, Visa Debit and processes your purchase for us.  PayPal accepts e-check as well as debit and credit.

Once your payment has cleared (E-check payments can take up to 5 business days to clear) we will send you a confirmation email and review of your purchase.  This is your receipt:)

Q: When do you ship my order?

A: Your order will be shipped within 1-3 days from the date of purchase.  This is due to post office hours, we aim to ship within 24 hours if your item is NOT made-to-order.  If your item is made to order, shipping is up to 5 business days after your point of purchase.

Q: How is my order shipped? 

A: Your order is shipped via Canada Post Standard Shipping.  This offers $100.00 CAD insurance for your package. 

Q: How long does it take to get my order?

A: After items are processed, items are shipped.  Shipping times are as followed:


Regular Parcel

Local (Edmonton)- Up to 2 days
Regional- Up to 5 days
National- Up to 9 days

Expedited Parcel

Local- Up to 1 day
Regional- Up to 3 days
National- Up to 7 days


Expedited Parcel
Delivery in 4-7 Business Days


Expedited Parcel
Delivery in 6-10 Business Days

Q: Can I get my package sooner than Standard Shipping times?

A: Right after you make your purchase, just shoot off an email to info[at] with a message and your attached invoice and let us know when you need your item.  We will then just need an e-transfer with the difference in cost to expedite the shipping.  Shipping times for expedited parcels are listed above.

Q: I would like to return my purchase.  What do I do?

A: We're sorry to hear you need to make a return! Here's what to do if you need to make a return.

******We're sorry but we only accept returns if you are either unhappy with the item, it was damaged in the mail, or a manufacturers' defect. 

1) Shoot us an email at info[at]thebraincandy[dot]com
to give us a heads up with what you would like to return and what your concerns are, photos preferred.

2)Ship your item to the address provided to you in your return email.

3) Once we receive your item, we will shoot you an email and provide you with either store credit, a refund, or ship out a new item of similar or less value.

4) If it's for an exchange, we will ship within delivery and processing times listed above. 

5) We will also send another shipping notification and tracking number once your return is shipped.

****If the item is one of a kind or vintage, we're sorry but the return will have to be for a refund or store credit.

To receive a refund, the item must still have original tags attached and be in the previous condition it was shipped in.  Thank you.
